Located just off West Bay harbour and the iconic East Beach, our shop was once a post office and has been at the heart of the bay’s close-knit community for decades.
Following a refurbishment in 2019, the family-run shop has since been transformed into an independent gift shop celebrating talented local suppliers, the Jurassic coast, and the great British seaside.
Open all year round, we feel privileged to be based in such a beautiful and historic part of the country, not only recognized as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty but also the backdrop for the popular TV drama Broadchurch.

After the success of Harbour News, we were eager to broaden our range of homewares and gifts, and the perfect opportunity soon presented itself.
A quaint yet perfectly positioned shop became available right in the heart of the historic market town of Bridport, and we jumped at the chance. In this lovely new space, we’ve curated a thoughtful selection of gifts, each chosen with care to offer something for everyone. From the soothing scents of Dorset Scent to an array of carefully selected books, there’s something to spark joy for any occasion. We’ve also brought in a beautiful collection of jewelry, including some unique pieces, and gorgeous bags imported directly from Spain, adding a touch of elegance and craftsmanship to the mix. Whether you're treating yourself or searching for the perfect gift, it’s a place to discover something truly special!

Opened in the spring of 2024, Bon Bon is the sweet spot you’ve been waiting for!
It's the perfect addition to the neighbourhood, located just around the corner from Harbour Gifts in Westbay. As its name suggests, Bon Bon is a sweetie lover’s dream, offering everything from classic rock and creamy fudge to fluffy candy floss and so much more. Whether you're in the mood for something nostalgic or craving a new treat to try, Bon Bon has got you covered with all the sugary delights you could possibly need. It’s the ultimate destination to satisfy that sweet tooth!
